The border crossing points in St. Petersburg and Leningradsky region with the free E-Visa.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs on 26th of September has published the list of the border crossing points in St. Petersburg and Leningradsky region through which tourists can cross with a free E-Visa.

The E-Visa is provided free of charge based on the electronic request of the foreign citizen. The application form can be submitted at the specially designed website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (http://electronic-visa.kdmid.ru/). The requests are accepted not later than 4 days before the expected day of arrival. No other documents are required for the application.

The E-Visas are valid for the period of 30 days, with the possibility to stay up to 8 days on the territory of St. Petersburg and Leningradsky region.The entry and exit points which accept the free E-Visas include air, pedestrian, marine, and automobile crossing points on the territory of St. Petersburg and Leningradsky region.

Such crossing points include:

  • Pulkovo airport;
  • car crossing points at Invangorod, Torfyanovka, Brusnitchnoe, Svetogorsk;
  • pedestrian crossing point at Ivangorod;
  • the marine crossing points Vysotsk, Big port of Saint Petersburg (Marine station section), Passenger Port Saint Petersburg

Please be informed that railway crossing points are currently not available with the free E-Visa due to the technical difficulties.

The validity of the E-Visa can always be checked at the special automated website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation (https://evisacheck.kdmid.ru/).
