Russia and Cuba have eased the Visa Formalities

The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov and the Vice President of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Economy and Planning of the Republic of Cuba, Ricardo Cabrisas have signed the agreement on simplification of the Visa formalities for the citizens of both countries, which extends the visa-free stay from 30 to 90 days.

Prior to the bilateral meeting, Lavrov and Cabrisas have signed the agreement on conditions of the mutual abolition of the Visa formalities between the countries and the document on cultural cooperation.

During the negotiations the Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has noted that current year is remarkable for the bilateral relations, considering the changes in the nation's leadership in Cuba and re-election of Vladimir Putin as the president of Russia.
