Moscow has proposed to cancel Visas for foreign tourists

The government of Russian capital came forward with a proposal to allow visa-free entrance for the foreign tourists, who are traveling for 2-3 days. It is assumed that it would allow to increase the number of tourists, who are coming for a weekend.

This initiative was forwarded to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russian Federation. The head's deputy of the Department of International Relations of Moscow, Anatoliy Valetov, has noted that, at the moment, Moscow is constrained by the Federal policy. He has referred to the China's practice, where government allowed the visa-free entrance to the visitors of Shanghai and Beijing.

It is worth to note that Russia is actively promoting her own touristic destinations on a Chinese market.
